Watercolour paper, watercolour paint, marker, crayon, thread, small wooden clothespin and construction paper cutouts.
A handbound booklet containing a collage made of construction paper and crayons. The collage occupies only the middle spread, all of the other pages, including the cover and back, are blank. Connected to the booklet is a thread with a clothespin attached. The collage features two women waving at each other, on the left is a woman in an orange shirt, and on the right is a woman wearing red glasses. They are the same women found on the covers of Artefact 1 and Artefact 1.1 respectively.
So again, this book has a string that's binding the book, but it is hanging down like a bookmark would, but it also has a little clothespin attached to the string. Again, it's a rectangular shape book. Again, the edges are not straight on the right side, as you open them. The covers and all the edges are little raggedy and little bitey marks out. The pages are blank and flat. They feel about the same cardboardy feel. When you open it up in the middle, there are two textured shapes across from each other, one on each page. And they are, you can notice shapes of a hands, hands waving at each other. You can feel the hands and the heads of figures. So you can sort of feel that they are people. And they're made out of a different kind of paper than the paper that they're on. Again, it's a rectangle book.
